Hey Missy, you survived the first semester of school, what are going to do?!?!
I'm going to Disneyland!!
With crazy people! I can't seem to shake these guys. Everywhere I go. There they are! ;-)
That's ok though, they are a pretty cool bunch.
And seeing Disneyland through the eyes of a child is the most magical part of the journey.
Although if you have a sweet tooth, Disneyland treats rank right up there! These are only two of the four treats I tried but they were my favorite.
The top one is a Strike it Rich Butterscotch Hot Fudge Sundae--Butter pecan ice cream smothered with butterscotch sauce and golden almond nuggets, under a layer of vanilla ice cream, freshly homemade hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry. It was incredible and I think I've said this before but I'll say it again Butterscotch doesn't get the respect it deserves. It's amazing and needs to make a comeback!
The bottom one is called a Dole Whip Float or as I like to call it Paradise. It's pineapple sorbet floating in pineapple juice. It's freaking magical! I waited in line for this and I would wait in line again in a heartbeat. So good.
I could fill a weeks worth of blogging just with Disneyland pics but I think most of you know about Disney so I'll just clue you in on a few things I learned.
Hit the weights before you hit Disneyland, this place isn't for the weak.Do not let your children drive!! I've seen my future and it's not so bright ;-)
She will get her license.....um....never.
And my neck hurts.
Visit Cars Land. It's spectacular!
Wear you hair in a ponytail so you can actually see how spectacular it is.
Eat these delicious, massive corn dogs.
Preferably an hour or so before you do this. Unless you like to live on the edge or in vomit then by all means eat the corn dog on the way to the ride.
If you have trust issues don't ride this. If you would like to know if you have trust issues, ride this. Clarity will follow shortly.
If you are wondering.....I have trust issues.
I mean, come on they leave a mouse in charge of this place.
Goofy could be running the controls.
They are surely trying to kill me. ;-)
Seriously, scariest ride I was on all weekend. I have issues.
No matter how old I get Mary Poppins will always be
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!! <--thank you Wikipedia
And at the end of the day if you leave with the same number of people you came with, you have won the day!!
*disclaimer-if you have teenagers you probably won't see them much.
Which is probably a good thing.
Cause they be weird.
