Saturdays-8 mile run (1:14), 20 min of yoga

I use to do yoga back in the day when I seemed to have more time on my hands. Where did that time go anyway?
Well, since I'm a girl without a goal and seem to be floundering around the exercise world I thought I would go back to yoga for a bit.
Ever since my bike crash my running seems off. Like I'm running with someone else's lower half. That's weird, right?
I thought resting after Ironman would get me back to my old self but I still feel outta sync. I know my hips are really tight so I though a little yoga might help loosen those up and get me back on the right track. Let's hope it helps.
Even though my running feels weird it doesn't stop me from taking out whoever's legs I have out for a hilly 8 mile run. I have been keeping my runs relatively flat lately so I thought I would mix it up a bit.
And with Ragnar only 3 weeks away I need to step up my game because that coarse is not flat.
It was a beautiful morning or a run. I expected those hills to kill me but they weren't that bad. Let's hear it for weight training!! I tell ya it pays off!
I can't say the hills were a walk in the park but I wasn't dying out there.
Did I mention it was a beautiful day to be outside? Doesn't a good weather day make such a difference? Uphill, hard runs are just easier when it gorgeous outside. No matter who's legs your using.
Maybe you can borrow someone else's legs for the 5k in March. I would loan ya mine but I can't find them.
You did enter the GIVEAWAY, right?
Right?
You have until Monday to get your name in the game!

BOOM! Now ya do!

I loooove yoga for loosening things up! I find a combination of foam rolling and yoga really works out the kinks in my muscles. I hope yoga's able to give you everything you want out of it.
