Thursday- 6 mile run (57min) I gotta stop running with my peeps, I talk to much and run too slow. I'm gonna sabotage all their hard training.
But since it's Valentines day I had to spend some time with my running sweathearts.
Aaaand wear all pink. My sweathearts noticed I matched today. I did it just for them. Tomorrow its back to my usual mismatched self.
I was still wiping the sleep from my eyes when I happened upon some flowers, a card and SOCKS!!
My man knows the key to my heart.
Since it's Valentines day let's talk chocolate. Namely chocolate I can't really pronounce. I was at the World Market the other day and I picked up a few goodies.
Happy Hippo? Now, that I can pronounce. They sound ummm, good? I've never eaten hippo before. ;-)
I thought these little treats looked cute for the kiddies lunch boxes. I figured they would be a fun surprise for Valentines day.
Nothing says mom loves you more than a chocolate filled hippo.
I love you! *said in my best hippo voice
Yeah, this guy didn't make it into a lunch box.
He did make it into my belly. Hippo's are delicious.
Like really.
Totally second guessing sharing these little guys with my little guys.
Then I remembered I didn't have to share this little gem.
Yes, I payed $2 for a German hoho.
It was totally worth it.
Even if it isn't German.
I ate this in the car on my way home. Best decision ever.
It's the only sure fire way not to have to share.
This picture doesn't do it justice. Like most of my pictures.
Think Hoho's but 1000 times better.
It had a yummy chocolate coating with a fudgey type layer under that; then there was moist chocolate cake and a cream filling.
I ate it.
Then wished I had another.
It was a perfect chocolaty treat. It's a good thing I can't get them everywhere because I could break the bank on Italian? No, Swedish? I'm pretty sure they are German.
On tasty chocolate cake thingies.
Just so you know my life doesn't revolve around chocolate.
Sometimes I eat steak and salad.
Namely ribeye's with a whiskey cream sauce and a wedge salad with homemade Ranch dressing.
I have to say I knocked this Valentines day dinner outta the park
He did. I swear.
I bet I get 4 pairs of socks next year.
I hope you all had a great Valentines Day!
