The perfect end to the weekend

44 mile ride (2:49) Flat easy ride.
Long finger gloves, pants, wool socks and toe warmers.  It must be January.
I could have gotten away with just leg warmers though, I got a bit warm.
As always is the case when riding in Arizona in the winter we had to stop and shed a layer.  That Arizona sun will warm you up in a hurry.
I think the socks make the outfit.
It felt good to get some longer miles in today.  I'm kinda starting to like cycling again.
Kinda.
If I could remove the traffic and all road hazards we would be besties for life.
What I wanted to do after my ride today.
What I actually did.
We can't let these beautiful days pass us by.
It will be 1000 and 4 degrees before we know it so we gotta enjoy the good weather while we can.
He's totally taunting me.
Na-na na-na boo-boo I get a ri-ide..
Toddlers got it good.

This is just like running.
Sometimes it's hard to get out the door but you are always so glad you did.
I was really, really glad Todd drug me kicking and screaming talked me into hiking today.
I was the perfect end to the weekend.
No, this was the perfect end to the weekend.
Will hike for donuts!

  1. I seriously love the hiking you have there--so, so beautiful! And then throw in some donuts???

And yes, I'm laughing at how layered you were for your AZ "winter" ride. I want winter like that!
