My Top 8 Posts

I haven't worked out yet today.  I might workout.  Or I might not. I'll see how my day shapes up.
Super Heroes?
My abs got a killer workout last night.
I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle laughing.
We had a super fun night ringing in the New year with family and friends.
Annnnd possibly teaching the kids to gamble.  heehee
Nah, but this was a pretty intense game of Left, Center, Right.
My family didn't bring home one single quarter.
We need to step up our dice rolling game in 2013.
I hope you all had a fun night and brought home a few quarters.
Balanced Diet.
I don't do resolutions.  I never really understood the point.
What if I want to set a goal on June 14th?  Do I have to wait until January to get started?  I could probably be more organized but I didn't write it down as a New Years Resolution so do I need to wait until 2014?
I totally understand setting goals and working towards them but do I need to do it on January 1st?  What if the mood strikes on February 2nd?
It's to0 confusing. :-)
For me I just try to stay balanced and be the best possible version of myself all year.  If I'm unhappy with something or want to try something new I get going on it, even if it it's the middle of July.
Because really, if I wrote any resolutions down, you know I would loose the list before the 2nd.
Even though I don't do resolutions I do enjoy looking back on my year and rereading some of my favorite blog posts.
Here are my Top 8 blog posts.
Because Top 10 is over rated.

Running Free
I loved this post because at the time I was just loving the run.  No pressure, paces or schedules. I think we all need to give ourselves a break sometimes from all that stuff and just run free.
My heart belongs to...
This post just made me laugh.  It's a constant internal struggle I have.  Am I runner or a triathlete?
Marathon training Stinks
This is just truth.
Old-Fashioned Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Buttercream
Mind blowing!! Nuff said.
I once ran 2 miles
I still can't believe how far I have come.  I'm a freaking Ironman and I could barely run 2 miles back in the day!
FYI- if I can do it anyone can.  Scouts honor.
Phone a friend
Seriously, do it!
I am an Ironman
I loved, LOVED every post in November!!  This was my favorite though.  I still get goose bumps thinking about it.
Let's say Hi
I like the 1st part of this post because it makes me sad that people don't say hi anymore and I think they should.
HI!!

  1. I am book marking this post to come back to so I can read up on all this great stuff. I LOVE saying Hi and I basically talk to everyone.....all the time. I agree. Why can't we at least smile at each other.

Happy New Year. It looks like you had a fun one ;)
