Not sure what is up with feeling like that while running but if it happens again (I'm gonna try running on Tuesday) I'll have to go get checked out.
Frustration seems to be my go to word lately.
Sunday-2 hour ride WHAT?!?! You rode your bike?
Don't worry I took the extra precautions necessary to ensure a safe ride.
Namely, I rode in my bedroom next to my bed. With a helmet and my Road ID.
Safety first.
After Saturdays run I wasn't sure how I would feel but it was fine. I planned to go for at least an hour but I was feeling good at the hour mark so I just kept going. I needed to finish watching Four Weddings on TLC anyway so might as well keep pedaling.
I want some wedding cake now, anyone getting married soon?
It felt marvelous to work up a sweat! I think 2 hours on the trainer going nowhere with no sunrise or wind in my helmet is equal to about 4 hours actual ride time, right?
I give this ride a broken thumbs up.
I chose to ride my road bike so I wasn't on my elbow but it really bothered my shoulder so my next ride will be on my tri bike to see if that feels better.
I have an orthopedic appointment on Tuesday to have my shoulder looked at so until then I'm not making any decisions about Ironman. In case you were wondering.
Cause I am.
Speaking of Ironman...... I have Ironfriends!
I'm pretty sure that made no sense, just roll it.
This is so true. Boo boos are better with friends...wait, boo boos feel better when your friends care.
And care they do! My training buddy in an effort to make me
I instantly felt
Not quite as amazing as my friends though.
I am so thankful for friends that stop by with a delicious meal,
or a stalk of aloe for for my road rash. I am grateful for the emails and texts full of love and encouraging words. And I am amazed by all of you who take the time to read my blog and leave a thoughtful comment or send me a sweet tweet on twitter.
I feel so blessed by everyone one of you. Thank you!!
Just got all caught up, so sorry you crashed again, ugh! Glad you had great friends to make sure you had cupcakes. THose look insanely yummy. Hope you are back to normal soon!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you up on the bike. And you have wondeful friends. Here's hoping for a speedy, full recovery! :)
ReplyDeleteYay, glad to see you are enjoying the running and rockin' that trainer! Hope all goes well and you start feeling lots and lots better!!!
ReplyDeleteNot a doctor (and don't play one on TV), but do you think the dizziness could be from not breathing properly - like, as in the feeling you get when you're nervous about stuff (i.e. crashing) and find that you're not breathing properly? Just a thought...
ReplyDeleteFrustrating - yes, but keep on keepin' on :)
Ok, I missed this whole crash thing--how awful! I really, really hope you're going to be ok for your IM. What terrible timing, not that there is good timing for a crash. Ugh.
ReplyDelete2 hrs on the trainer IS like 4 million hrs on the road! I should know! Been there have the t-shirt! Good luck @ the Dr. I miss you!
