Who dropped the ball? I am hungry!

Workout- 30min run, 45min swim All was well today, my legs felt better and my swim wasn't too suckish. As I was staring at the bottom of the pool this morning I was thinking, I do that sometimes, about my race on Sunday and a few other things. I thought I would share them with you cause I know you are dying to know what goes on in my head.
My Random thoughts:
I wonder how big the waves will be in the ocean on Sunday? Hopefully not to big.
I think I should have done more bike/runs to  prepare my legs better.
Why is there sand in the bottom of an indoor pool?
I can't forget to pack my PB, jelly, and bread so I can have my breakfast of champions for before the race.
Wonder what I should do for nutrition for this race, way to think about that now genius, to late, we'll wing it.
Ohh wings, I love chicken wings.
I should look up the course and see if it is hilly, cause that would be important to know 4 days before the race, whatever.
All four fingers enter the mail slot, glide, set, catch. That's what Dave Scott said, so it must be the proper way to swim.
Is that a sock on the bottom of the pool, gross.
I think I can hear my stomach growling under water, cool.
5 more min an I am done in here, I gotta get some food, asap!

It is deep stuff I know, just let it sink in for a minute. Got it all? Good.

Now lets talk about a sad story with a happy ending. Since I am so organized, and one of those mom's who wouldn't dare drop a ball, you know this story isn't about me. To save time though, let's just pretend it's me.

I walked in the door. There was a baby and a tween looking for breakfast, and since I could hear my stomach growling underwater, you know I was looking for some food, asap. We searched high and low for something good to eat and since someone didn't go to the store yesterday, our search didn't yield anything appealing. The previous 3 family members (they have an earlier school time)  had raided what goods were left and we were stuck with some boring bran cereal. That wasn't gonna cut it, I could've ate a small child and Micah was lookin awful good. This was an emergency! DUN dun DUhhhhh!

Thank you Bagel Nosh!! You are always there when I need you. Say helloo to my little friend....

I love the Ranchero. Eggs, sausage, red onion, jalapeno cream cheese, on a bagel. I vary the bagel but today it was an everything bagel. When I am starving, I always go the savory route.

If you know how to get a tween to stop
eating long enough to snap a pic, do tell.

Ty got the Meaty Egg White Delight. He had his with egg whites, sausage, cheddar cheese, and a french toast bagel. I love that he mixed it up with sweet and savory.

Little man got a blueberry bagel, toasted with butter. Don't laugh at his hair we were in a hurry. Remember, he was almost breakfast.

It was a great morning with two of my favorite people. If I hadn't dropped the ball on the grocery shopping, we wouldn't have had this wonderful, special morning together. Good thing I know I will probably drop it again cause, I kinda liked it. ;-)
